Aloha,

I have been a General Contractor in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1991. I began in construction with my father Richard A. Brown in 1977 and I'm a fourth generation builder.

In the 30+ years I've been doing construction, Bay Area building has gone through some changes. I remember doing foundations because people wanted their house level. Seismic retrofitting began around 1979 because I remember the first roto-hammers and smaller demolition hammers coming on the market. The lumber yards hand wrote tags for what you bought.

It's been a lot of fun and now I have lasers, computers, PDA's and cell phones as tools. I still have my tool belt in the truck.  

I incorporate the Aloha spirit into all of my work.

On The Job Site

We are a full service construction company. I take great care and pride in ensuring my customers' lives are not impacted any more than is necessary for our work to be completed. 

Residential remodel and restoration is what we do, so our preparation, set-up and protection of the job site and the landscaping is very important. 

We do commercial improvement work where we bring the same eye for unique detail that is needed for restoration work on residential remodels.
