Berkeley Way

This house was a full remodel inside and out. This house had aluminum siding on it and was white with gray trim. I peeled a corner saw the original siding and decided I really wanted it. I stripped the aluminum off and found the nice attic vent detail.

EXTERIOR

The front porch roof was supported by a flimsy wrought iron post and a metal handrail. I put in 4x4 posts and built the banissters and boxed the posts. The rear patio is slate tile and the rear addition was stucco. I removed all of the stucco and installed siding to match the rest of the house. New Electrical service, rewired entire house, heating system and fences. The house was fully surrounded by cyclone fence .

INTERIOR

The interior was dingy, had mold in the bathrooms and the kitchen was a mess. water heater was next to the stove, washer and dryer were where the desk under the window is. The back bedroom was a horrible drab green. The trim in the bedroom was something i just cut out to resemble  Japanese Torii gates. I had fun doing the tile work in the bathrooms.
